PACIFIC HIGHLANDS RANCH The community of Pacific Highlands Ranch encompasses nearly 2,652 acres with a projected maximum number of dwelling units of 5,182 homes. Conservation of the Multiple Habitat Preservation Area is the foundation for the area, preserving open space and encouraging wildlife movement. The preservation area constitutes 1,275 acres (48%) of the community. The Pacific Highlands Ranch Community Center has a swimming pool, children's pool/water park, gym and clubhouse. Developments in this community include Airoso, Arabella, Bordeaux, Soleil, Portico, Santa Rosa, Manzanita Trail and Hampton Lane.
